Rayborn Westerman, 77, of Paris died Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Eric Kelleher of Bridge of Hope Church, where he was a member, and Joe Watson of the Church of God of Prophecy in Jackson officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Burial will be in Baker’s Chapel Cemetery in Big Sandy.
Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Westerman was born March 28, 1942, in Stribling. He was the son of the late Audie and Aurora Matheney Westerman.
He was married Sept. 18, 1965, to Geraldine Williams Westerman of Paris, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Terrie Lynn Westerman of Paducah and Tammy Jo Dotson of Portland; three grandchildren: Courtney Rae (David) White, and Benjamin Joseph and Andrew Shae Dotson; a great-grandchild, Rosalie Mae White; a sister, Dianne (Walter) Killius of Dover; two brothers, Clifford (Mary Ann) Westerman of Connecticut and Marvin Glen (Barbara) Westerman of New Britain, Conn.; and a sister-in-law, Ruth (Larry) Woodard of Paris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nina Mae Gray; and a brother, James Robert Westerman.
Westerman was a Christian in faith. A family member said his hobbies included fishing and working on small engines.
