Patricia “Trish” Toombs, 64, of Springville died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at her home.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 22 at McEvoy Funeral Home with James Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan 22.
Toombs was born Feb. 12, 1956, in Obion County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Flowers and Gladys Estelle Turner Flowers.
She married William “Bill” Toombs on July 18, 1987, and he survives in Springville.
Along with her husband, Toombs is survived by two daughters: Tiffani “Leann” Mitchell of Rives and Stephanie Jo Garrett of Camden; five grandchildren: Scott Lee Garrett, Jordan Mitchell, Matthew Garrett, Kobe Mitchell and Abigail Turner; a great-grandchild, Kenna Marie Glover; three brothers: Jerry Flowers of Newbern, and Bobby Flowers and Billy Flowers, both of Dyersburg; a niece, Pam Corey of Benton, Ky.; and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, Toombs was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Mullins; and a brother, Wayne Flowers.
Toombs was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church in Kenton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
