Bob Crocker, age 88, of Gallatin, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at NHC of Gallatin.
His funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at McEvoy Funeral Home, with his grandson Pharris Garcia officiating. Burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Robert Lewis Crocker was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Harry L. Crocker and the late Ora Lee Terry Crocker. He married Barbara Boyd Crocker on Oct. 26, 1957, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 2017.
Bob is survived by his grandchildren, Robert Neyland (Anna) Crocker of Gallatin and Kellye (Pharris) Garcia of Flowery Branch, Ga.; great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Austin, Mollie and Grayson Crocker and Asher, Ren and Desmond Garcia; one sister and a brother, Harry Crocker of Clarksville.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Crocker and his daughter-in-law, Mary Leanne Crocker.
Bob was longtime owner-operator of the Shamrock Resort in Buchanan. He was very active in promoting tourism for the resort, Henry County and the State of Tennessee.
Arrangements are by McEvoy Funeral Home, Paris, Tenn.
