To the editor:
Thirty-eight years ago, my father died. He was buried at Olive Branch Cemetery. After his tombstone was set, I bought a clip-on flower arrangement. Someone stole it the very next day.
My mother died on March 12 of this year. I had a $70 arrangement of silk flowers made in June. I took it to the cemetery and placed it on my parents’ tombstone.
July 7, I went to the cemetery. The arrangement was gone. Now, I won’t be able to place flowers on my parents’ grave.
It takes a sorry person to steal off a dead person’s grave. I sincerely hope whoever took the flowers will have a miserable life. God keeps records. What goes around comes around.
