To the editor:
We attended Saturday’s No Limits Livestock Show at the Henry County Fairgrounds.
What an amazing event organized by Sarah Orr and a host of volunteers from the Henry County High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) program!
This program, No Limits, provides education on agriculture and farm life for special-needs students of Henry County.
Thank you, Sarah, for your compassion and ingenuity that brought together young people and farm animals.
By teaching these students the skills associated with animal care and showing animals at a livestock show, you help them achieve goals and gain confidence.
We are thankful to all those in the community who reach out and support those with special needs.
We are especially pleased with the FFA members who “buddied up” with these students during the day to teach and encourage them.
Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, the FFA leadership and students, especially to Sarah Orr, and her amazing gift manifested in the No Limits Livestock Show.
