Lady Pats win another 3-1 game

The Henry County Lady Patriots middle school softball team won its second straight game by a score of 3-1 this week.

On Monday, Henry County topped Camden by that score and followed on Tuesday winning at Martin 3-1. The Lady Patriots are now 12-8 on the season and host Inman at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Henry County High School softball field.

Allison Glatt drove in two runs with a triple with two outs in the top of the sixth inning to key the win at Martin. She also had a single while Noe Wilkerson and Jocelyn Lee added hits.

Celia Lamkin was the winning pitcher and benefited from several strong defensive plays by her teammates.

In the junior varsity game, Henry County blanked Martin 12-0. Halie Cooper, Serenity Crosser and Breely Peirpoint all pitched for the Lady Patriots. Glatt belted a three-run homer while Autumn Farris, Crosser, Courtney Colley and Pierpoint added hits.
