Several tryout sessions for middle school and high school athletic teams are planned for early July.
Players attending any of the tryouts for teams within the Henry County School System should bring completed forms for physicals, parent consent, sudden cardiac arrest, concussion and code of conduct. Players will be responsible for their own water, practice clothing and personal equipment.
HENRY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
Patriot head coach Shane Kemp plans to hold tryouts from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday through July 8 at the HCHS baseball field. Players entering grades 9-12 are eligible.
HCHS GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Lady Patriot head coach Cliff Curd says tryouts for players entering grades 9-12 are set for 7-8:45 a.m. July 13-14 at Gamlin Gymnasium on the HCHS campus.

Henry County Lady Patriots middle school girls’ soccer coach Roy Ipatzi has set tryouts from noon to 1:30 p.m. July 7 at McNeill Park.
