Lady Patriots working to prepare for soccer season

New Henry County High School girls’ soccer head coach Gideon Gielis (right) gives some instructions to a pair of Lady Patriots during a practice Friday at HCHS. Former Lady Patriot Grace Burden will be the assistant coach this season. The Lady Patriots are hosting an alumni game at 6 p.m. Saturday at HCHS. The regular season gets underway Aug. 17 at Clarksville Northeast. The first home match is set for Aug. 26 against McKenzie. The match will start at 6 p.m.
